This item is a Mid to Late 20th Century Vintage PAYMASTER Series S-1000 Check Protector/Writer, Made in Chicago, Ilinois, USA
This check protector is in great overall condition. But I do not know whether it is still working or not. Anyway it is a great display/decorative items.
